After about eight months of planning and organizing everything that went                                into the Art Festival, from the food to the artwork to the activities and                                        everything in between, Sam and I finally completed our project. During the process, particularly the last month beforehand, I was thoroughly stressed. While it never got to the point of inhibiting my ability to complete the project, it did have an effect on my health. For many days in the past eight months, I only got about four hours of sleep whereas the recommended minimum for someone my age is seven per night. Even though the process was difficult, I am glad to have completed it and would do it again because working on this event better prepared me for a difficult workload as I move on to college. Much of what I have learned by completion of this project is outlined in the school acronym: Scholarship, Skill, Honor, and Service.
